Review: Bride on the Run by Milan Watson

Review: She Marches Through Fire by A.M. Manay

She Marches Through Fire (November Snow Book 3)She Marches Through Fire by A.M. Manay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The final instalment in the November Snow series doesn’t disappoint! If you’ve read the first two (and if you haven’t yet, get reading!) I know that you know you need to find out how it all ends. November is serious trouble, but this girl doesn’t know the meaning of surrender – she kicks butt.

An excellent end to an intriguing series. You have to read all three!

Something Seen: Life is like a camera

Snapped this in an intriguing little furniture store today. It's a well known quote, of course, but it's nice to see it on display somewhere :)

Review: Children of Another God by T.C. Southwell

Children of Another GodChildren of Another God by T.C. Southwell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is an unexpected and pleasurable read. I have read T.C. Southwell before and knew this would be good, and yet it surprised me. Such imagination! And also, sadly, some pertinent insights into how wrong humankind can be sometimes. Definitely worth grabbing a copy!

Review: Gretel by Christopher Coleman

Gretel (Gretel, #1)Gretel by Christopher Coleman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

An extremely well-written tale that takes the children’s story of Hansel and Gretel and ramps it up a fair bit. This is not what you expect, believe me, and is quite horrifying sometimes. It’s also clever and insightful, and there are a fair few surprises you won’t see coming. I thoroughly enjoyed this read!
