Queen of Chaos by Kat Ross

Queen of Chaos (The Fourth Element, #3)Queen of Chaos by Kat Ross
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Queen of Chaos indeed! The evil in this trilogy is astronomical (gotta love that!) but the love, loyalty and honour amid the defenders fills one with light. A thoroughly enjoyable read, from book 1 to this one. 5 stars all the way.

The Midnight Sea by Kat Ross

The Midnight Sea (The Fourth Element, #1)The Midnight Sea by Kat Ross
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A brilliant, imaginative and exciting story! I received this as a freebie and am so glad I read it. In fact, the moment I finished it I moved on to book 2. Well done to the author for pulling me into this world of supernatural beings, creatures and abilities.

Review: Shadows Bane by Aiki Flinthart

Shadows Bane (The Ruadhan Sidhe Novels Book 2)Shadows Bane by Aiki Flinthart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This second volume takes us deeper into Rowan and Logan's dilemma, and again I devoured it! I absolutely love the abilities on display here, and this time we go back in time and memory to Ireland and 'see' Calain's past and how he affects Rowan's future. Brilliant.

Aiki Flinthart has a mighty imagination and her tales are easy to read, in the sense that you don't feel as if you're reading - you are THERE amid the madness, immersed in the story. Very well done, and an absolute pleasure to read.

Recommend this to all lovers of urban fantasy and all who simply enjoy escaping reality for a time!
