In the Kallanon Scales, the Valla twins are snatched from reality and find themselves dumped in an alternate Valaris each. Tristamil lands up in a world that is terrible desert while Tymall is surrounded by cloying jungle. Escape lies in acknowledging who they are as inner beings.
