An author is also a top cop, while a fireman is a sleeper agent,
and these two live next door to each other. As a blizzard descends over
Christmas, Vicky and Nick get together, snowed in, but clearly there are
undercurrents. She should arrest him, while he needs to kill her. Love has
other ideas, though.
This is a quick read, a thrilling romance, well written, an
almost old-style espionage tale, but with a modern twist. Well worth it!
